A mobile app and electronic best practices guide are companions to the device. So, now there’s a measurable way to control unconscious and unsafe facial touching to help prevent spreading infections.

    By design, the IPaC Training Sleeve vers. 1.0 does not store the data generated from user sessions. The data is temporarily sent to the authorized user's phone via the included app and users may screenshot any data they may want to retain. Once the session closes, the data is deleted in Vers. 1.0.

    The Shareable Wearable!

     The IPaC Training Sleeve was designed to be shared among groups as needed. For example, if a healthcare facility kept the devices on the premises, any healthcare worker could “check one out” like a library book and wear it while doing whatever, monitor the data on their phone app, capture the data and when done remove the module and battery before tossing the sleeve into the healthcare laundry system.


      The returned module and rechargeable battery should be wiped with the recommended cleaning agent and placed into a clean re-sealable bag then, together with a fresh sleeve (from a sealed bag), placed into the IPaC Sleeve box for someone else to use as needed.


     To optimize the safe use of this new equipment someone should be responsible for the “cycles of readiness” to ensure IPaC Sleeves are more and more available as time goes on as we do anticipate it will become standard procedure for all healthcare workers to have received such trainings, possibly to the point of certifications and re-certifications over time. This is digital health in action!
